Christmas Goodies

I have been on call all week so Rob and I have been apart. Today Rob was off so he came to Lugoff to begin the Christmas celebrations. We met at Gma and Bubbas because mom sent me a message letting me know we were going to be baking and eating supper down there. I arrive and the whole family is there. We ordered wings and raw fries from Leos and enjoyed supper. After supper it was time for some Christmas baking. Gma had already baked the layers for her red velvet and caramel cakes but she needed to make the icing. Gma made her cream cheese icing and everyone enjoyed a lick of the bowl once she was finished...Monk also had a few spoonfuls.

While Gma was working on her cakes, mom directed Dee Dee and I on making peanut butter balls. We measured, mixed, rolled and dunked to make the perfect peanut butter balls. Monk wanted to join us too and he made a few that he enjoyed himself. Here is the finished product of mine and dee dees labor...YUMMY!!!!

Not only did we make peanut butter balls and enjoy some amazing cream cheese icing but we made some "trash" too. Basically we put everything in a big black trash bag and mixed it all together. Then you add some butter, worcestershire sauce and maybe a little something else?? not sure. Mix it all together, bake, and your get this......

After making all the goodies, it was time to go home because the festivities would continue tomorrow at Gma and Bubbas for our annual steak Christmas eve supper!!!!
