We woke up early, put on our fancy clothes and headed to Charleston SC with Ga, Nene and Paw Paw. We arrived at the courthouse and made our way to the sitting area where we would hang out for a little while. This was a pretty emotional day for me but I held it together.
We played and chatted until our names were called.
Walking into the court room I was nervous but so ready to hear the judge say "granted". Our amazing attorney, Glenn Lister, made this day so easy. He had informed us of what should occur in the courtroom and he was spot on. The Judge also made is so seamless as she smiled when Jonathan would make noises and answer out of turn. We had the run down of who we are, what we do, and our intentions. Robert and I both answered questions and then she said it---GRANTED!!! That word is the best word in the dictionary!!
He is officially a Truesdale---of course he technically has been since he was born but we needed it in writing with a signature and seal stamp.
