The Rest of My Thankfuls :O)

So I am a slacker and did post all of my thankful things. So here they are in a nutshell:

19-- Gma and Bubba...they are the most amazing grandparent I know. I love to listen to their stories and to just sit and talk with them. Gma is the best cook and Bubba is the best story teller.

20--My Church Family. I am thankful for PGBC members who still check in on me and ask how I am doing. The ones who tell me they miss me and ask when we are moving back to Lugoff. I covet their prayers and friendships.

21--My new Church Family at Cornerstone. We have met some wonderful people at church and are so thankful that God has blessed us with meeting several Godly couples who we can have fun with.

22--Crazy trashy television. Yes i know that is silly but when i watch the Housewives shows it reminds me of how wonderful my life is. So thankful that I dont have the crazy drama of their lives!!! :O)

23--Today I am thankful for my Blackberry...haha....it keeps me connected to everyone.

24--Sweet Tea...ahhhhh so refreshing.

25--Time that i get to spend with my family. I am thankful that I am able to spend time with them and that they are always there for me when I need them. I love my family!!

Jonah and The Big Fish

Kaitlin Marie

Today I am thankful for my "little"cousin Kaitlin. She is not so little anymore....she is in high school and i feel SUPER old!!!! Something i also remember Kaitlin telling me when she was younger was that when she grows up she wanted to be an archaeologist. I really hope she does pursue this goal....then maybe she will send some of her millions to her FAVORITE cousin!!!! Love you KK!!!!

Allison Renee

Today I am thankful for Allison, my first cousin on my daddys side of the family. Allison and I fought like sisters when we were younger but I think we have now grown into some pretty good adults. Allison is expecting her first child next year and we are super excited to spoil little Abigail. Allison is going to be a great mother!!!! Love you Ally-cat!!

Today I am thankful for my Beta Sigma Phi sisters. No matter what these girls can always put a smile on my face. I am so glad I joined this organization. Cant wait to see them tonight at Red Bowl...one of my fav places to eat!!! :O)

Jennifer Leigh Moak

Today I am thankful for my sister, Jennifer. I was able to spend a wonderful 14 years of life with her and loved every minute of it. Yes we fought like cats and dogs but we also shared thousands of laughs. One of my fondest memories with Jennifer is at Christmas time. Every Christmas Eve we would sleep in her bed. We would try to fall asleep but of course we couldn't so we would just talk. We also played a game called "telephone"--cant explain it b/c it didn't make any sense--but she even did this with me when we were teenagers.

I do miss her daily but I am thankful for the time we had together.

Cherish the time you have with each other because you never know when it will be your last.

Marriage

Today I am thankful for my amazing marriage. Rob and I have never argued (yes i realize this may happen one day), always laugh, have wonderful communication, don't stress over the small stuff, and have fun!!! I know that God ordained our marriage and am so glad that I listened to God and waited for my husband!!!! Marriage is a fun experience and you get from it what you put in!!!!

Godly Girlfriends

Today I am thankful for the many woman that God has put in my life to encourage me, lend an ear, and to cry with me over silliness. I am thankful that God has given me many "sisters" who have such amazing walks with him and who strive to be better and better each day. Although we all make mistakes we encourage on another to do better and to be held accountable. Thank you God for giving me these women.

Camp Longridge

Today, I am thankful for Camp Longridge. Now that might sound funny but this camp is a huge part of my life. I have meet the best friends a girl could every want at this camp. Many lives have been changed at this camp, God has worked in tremendous ways. Camp Longridge will forever be the most amazing place on earth. When you drive through the gates you know that God is there.

Veterans....

Today I am thankful for all the Veterans, those here and those that have gone on. The Veterans are amazing men and woman who sacrificed giving their lives for our freedom. Thank you for serving, thank you for giving of your time, and thank you for being the one to step up.

Our Home...

Today I am thankful for the home that Rob and I have. Even though we don't own this little house it is our home. There are people in the world who have so much less than we do and we are blessed to say that we have a roof over our heads.

As for me and my house, we will praise the LORD!!!!

Today, I am thankful for my three (oldest) cousins :O) These three ladies have shown me love time and time again. They all three have smiles that bright up a room, have undying love for the children and husbands, and love the Lord with their whole hearts. When I think of the three of them, i cant help but smile!!!

In-laws

Today I am thankful for my in-laws....Mommy Barbara, Gma Jo, Aunt Debra and Uncle Ed. They are such wonderful people and did a great job raising my husband to be the man he is today. Mommy Barbara has such a wonderful heart and giving spirit. Gma Jo loves to tell stories about Rob when he was smaller. Aunt Debra and Uncle Ed are our weekly eating out partners :O) I am just thankful to have added these wonderful people to my family :O)

Today I am thankful for Kacie Leigh Gallman. Even though we don't talk every day or even every month I know that no matter what she will be there for me. Kacie was my maid of honor in our wedding and it meant the world to me to have here there for our perfect day!!!! Kacie Leigh, thank you for being my best friend!!!! I love you!!!

Corn, Corn and more Corn.....and a little BBQ!!!!

I am a member of Beta Sigma Phi in Columbia. My chapter is Beta Chapter, we are the youngest chapter in our council :O) Although we are small we do enjoy having fun and getting together for social events. Since I am social chair I take on the task of planning events. The event for October/November was CORN MAZE!!!!! I have been to the corn maze before but the other ladies had not. This will be interesting to say the least. We planned to eat at Hudsons Smokehouse before heading out to the maze. Hudsons was AMAZING!! I even thought it was better than Dukes.....blasphemy i know!!! It was just good!!! After eating the crew, Suzanne, Jamie, Tiffany, Susan, Lori, Rob, and myself headed to the maze. We paid and got a wrist bands, which rob called pain and punishment after our adventure was completed :O). We got in the maze and Tiffany was leading the pack. We went in for a good ways and then realized we had been to this same point about TEN THOUSAND times......there are stations you can get to and we went to the Korean and Vietnam Wars a lot--but we did think of Mary Beth when we saw these!!!! We miss you and are thinking of you often....come home soon!!! After we walked in circles we decided to go back to the beginning....we somehow got there. We looked at the map again and we had a plan. The plan didn't last very long!!!! We were back in circles again. We called for help from the Maze Master and he told us to go first left then right. We then got lost again until Lori and Tiffany ventured a little off and found the way to a bridge!!!! We got the bridge and asked the maze master again what to do and he said just keep going RIGHT and you will make it out. Low and behold he was RIGHT!!!!! We were in the maze for an hour and forty five minutes!!!!!!! That is time to walk over three miles!!!! After we got out, Susan and I got hot chocolate and we took this pic to prove that we made it out alive!!!!

Even though it was cold and lots of walking we did enjoy the social event and I enjoyed the most spending time with the beta babes :O)

Tommy D. aka Daddy-o

Today I am thankful for my daddy. That's right, the amazing Tommy!!!! He is such an amazing man of God and such an example for others. My daddy will do anything for his baby girl, even change her tire, put air in it, etc....after he reminded her to check it TEN THOUSAND TIMES!!!! My daddy is the best and I am thankful to be his daughter!!!!

Today I am thankful for my mother!!! She is the most amazing person I know. She says i am "spoiled" which is absolutely true. She is loving, nurturing, a friend, a confidant, and my guide. I thank God each day for my mother and don't know what I would do without her!!!!

Today I am thankful for my husband. I prayed FOREVER asking for God to send my husband to me. In His time, He did send him to me and each day I am reminded of how God molded him to fit perfectly with me. He is my perfect match and I am so grateful that I listened to God, even though at times very impatiently, when he continued to say "just wait, im working on it". I love you Robert Truesdale!!!!

25 Days of Thanksgiving...

So for the next twenty five days I am going to post each day about what I am thankful for.

Today I am thankful for my Savior who died on the cross for me so that I would not spend eternity in hell. There is nothing greater than knowing that my Heavenly Father sent His son to die for me....that is LOVE!!!!
