Friday--So i FINALLY returned to O-burg after a week of being on call. I arrived at the house and guess what i saw...my hubby standing on the front porch and the flag pole that he put up to surprise me!!! He even put up the flag with the T on it!!! I was super excited and was smiling like crazy. We then went to Wing King Cafe and i had some amazing fried pickles :O) we left the wing kind and low and behold a HUGE storm cloud was rolling in. So we hurried home and spent some quality time together......
Saturday--Today i had a baby shower to attend for my friend Jennifer. She is having a little boy and his name is Evan. I cant wait to meet this little on in September:O) Jennifer looks super cute with her baby belly. After the shower i headed by to Oburg and we then went to the CWA show. Oh goodness the people i got to see and hear was amazing. Because i am a people watcher i enjoy going to these events. So we arrived and got our tickets for front row no less. the lady told us it was seat 20 and 21. I thought it was a 7 not a 2 but she said it was a 2. We sat in our seats and got comfy and were ready for the show to begin. Soon four men came to use and said we were in their seats. I of course said no we are not because i had verified the numbers. Rob and the older guy go and talk to the ticket woman. Guess what...our seats were 70 and 71!!!! So we move to the other side of the ring. We walk over and there is something in my chair. what is it you ask...GLITTER...glue glitter that the girl next to my chair had put there. So of course i have her remove the goo from my seat and then i sit down. Ten minutes later she then tells me she will clean it off. I say no its ok now and then tell Rob that i will get him back for this :O) after a while the man behind us begins to talk---COUNTRY BUMPKIN!!! wow it was amazing. the craziest thing he did was call a man who was two seats down from me a black turtle and then a black turd---this was because the man had put a black mask on his head. I could not stop laughing because i thought this man was going to get a beat down but alas no one was hurt. The matches began and wham bam thank you ma'am another crazy kid was spotted. It was a man, who may be homosexual, that was very much ready for the matches to begin. He began chanting "Chippendale's Reject" and doing the cheerleader clap. OH boy i began to hit rob each time i saw him do something crazy or silly. It was very entertaining. Another thing i notice was two kids who had 80s style hair..frizzy and mullet style!!! WOW:O) I did enjoy the show though, all 4.5 hours of it!!!! So we then went to Sonic and enjoyed a very late supper....then it was to bed we go.
Sunday--Today we slept in. I know it was lazy but we were tired--well i was tired. We got up and started washing clothes and then just kind of laid around the house. It was a perfect, lazy, restful day.
Couldn't ask for anything better...a weekend with my love :O)
