We had our second family date and decided to eat at Zaxbys and them go bowling. We ate and talked about 'ghost' stories they have been told. I thought the 'bloody mary' story had gone away but obviously not. We told them those were stories and not true. Of course the boys want to try it out...we will nix this quickly!
After lunch we headed to bowl. The first thing they see when we walk in are arcade games....and they went right over to them. I decided to let them 'play' while I got shoes and paid for our games. We decided to play two games....with bumpers. Our shoes were really stylish.
After half of the first game they were 'bored' and wanted to play the games. So we made a deal that we would all play our two games and then they could play the arcade games. I ran to the atm during the second game so we could get quarters. After the bowling was over they darted to the games....yes, darted! We gave them the equal amount of quarters and said you can play/use them however you want but when the money is gone that is it. Within a ten minute period the money was gone. We ended the date with cookies and a drink.
Lesson of the day: arcade games are better than bowling
