This weekend was a whirlwind! Friday came and the kiddos were full of energy and sugar...thanks to the candy jar I left out-oops! We did end up getting everyone bathed and in bed by 10:30 pm. Today was a crazy and trying day.

Saturday, our parents came over for a cookout. The kiddos were super good while they had visitors and enjoyed playing. They were given a few gifts and wanted more....but who doesn't love presents?!?! My mom told me my little girl is just like me and yes, I do see myself in her which means we are in trouble! After grandparents left, video games were played and then a movie was watched before bedtime.

Sunday, we attended church and the kids really enjoyed it. They learned about respect which is something we are working on at home too. We started a rewards points system so they can see that good behavior is something to be rewarded (Negative behavior also has consequences and points are deducted). After church we ate lunch and then went to the park to play. Two hours of good wholesome fun was had by all. After playing we came home and got ready for bath time and then bedtime.

Monday, our kiddos headed back to their current placement but only for two nights. Wednesday begins our placement and we covet your prayers for adjustment and schedules to fall in place.
We will keep you posted on how things are going as often as we can....
