We have been BUSY!!!

This month if FLYING by and we have definitely been super busy. We have been to Lancaster the first two weekends of the month working on getting Robs moms house packed up and ready to go for her to move to Orangeburg with us. On the first weekend, we had a yard sale and it was HOT HOT HOT but we needed to get it done. Lots was sold but there was still a TON more to get packed up and ready to move. We went back this past weekend on Saturday. We headed up the Lancaster at 6am, picked up the U-Haul at 9am and then started packing at 10am. We had 6 to 8 people helping pack up the four bedroom/three bathroom home. We finished packing around 4pm and headed down the road to St Matthews to put in in a storage unit. It was a LARGE load and the HUGE truck was filled to the gills. Rob drove the truck and of course I followed him to make sure we got back safely. My parents helped with the process too, they are awesome!!!! We got to St. Matthews to the storage unit where David and Will met us to help unload. I love having friends who don't mind helping us out!! After unpacking at the unit and then the Allens house we all went out to eat Dukes BBQ....YUM!! We finally sat down on our booties at home around 8pm. It was a LONG day but it was a good day and we got lots completed. Now we just need Robs moms closing to be completed next Friday and she will be resident of Orangeburg County!!! YAY!!!!

Hubby & Wifey Day

So I was off today due to Confederate Memorial Day and Rob took off so we could get some things completed. We went to Columbia and just had a great day. We dropped some things off at Goodwill before hearing to look at furniture. We went to Ashley Furniture and we decided we would just look around and see what they had. We saw LOTS of beautiful furniture. We found a sofa, love seat, and recliner that we LOVED. It is brown durablend leather and it ALL reclines so we are excited about that. We hope to purchase soon but after our closing. We also found the table and chairs for our dining room. There is also a bench that comes with it. We are super excited to finally have our first home and begin building our family together. :O) 

We ate lunch at The British Bulldog Pub. One, Rob loved the name b/c that is an old wrestlers name, and #2 Rob loves bar food :O) It was yummy!! We then walked to a few shops before heading to the movies.

We went to see Avengers!!! Yes it was a great movie and I really enjoyed watching it. Rob loves this stuff and I have to say this movie was worth the money. 

After the movie we headed our for some ice-cream to round out the day. It was prefect and much needed us time!!

Dreams Do Come True.....

Rob and I are going through the wonderful, FRUSTRATING, world of buying a home. We have an amazing realtor, Manny, who is walking us step by step through the process. We are currently under contract on our amazing dream home and cannot wait for it to finally be ours. We kind of hand this one fall in our laps really. I was looking online and saw the posting on our realtors Facebook page. I messaged Manny that day and he said we could go look at it the same day. So we did, Rob and I LOVED the house and knew it was time to make an offer without having any lingering doubt. So we did and they accepted the same day, first offer and everything!!! Rob and I were in Wal-Mart when Manny called us with the news. We are sooooo super excited about it. We are working on getting all the paperwork needed to the bank now and of course the inspection. So once all our Is are dotted and Ts are crossed, on June 1st we will be home owners!!!! 

Keep us in your prayers through this process b/c it can and is super stressful at times. Also, Robs moms home is under contract so she will be moving closer to us!!! God is working and its awesome to see His hand in everything!!!

Weight Watchers Update

This week was the last week left on my big pass for WW. I have made the choice to not go to meetings for a month but to keep track online and keep on going. We need to save money in our household and I feel this is one way we can do that. I am now 81 pounds down and I am not going to stop. Its time now to work on it more and get moving more!!!

When I head back to the meetings in a month I hope the scale is my friend :O) Will be keeping track here at home so I can make sure I am doing well.

Made it to the BIG 8-0!!!!

This past Thursday I went to weigh in and was super ready to see if my efforts the past week had paid off. Got on the scale and BAM....80.6 pounds GONE!!! HECK YES!!!! I am soooooo excited and cannot wait to keep going. 


Keep going, even with a few speed bumps, never give up--that is my motto!!

real FRIENDS and friends

Yes its time for me to get on my soap box for a minute...

With Facebook these days anyone can be friends. Its sad to though b/c some people who are my friends on Facebook are not FRIENDS to my face. I have tried to be FRIENDS with most on my friends list but when I get nothing in return that is a hint to me that they don't want to be my FRIEND. So someday soon, I will be deleting those so called friends--yes the ever dreaded deletion of friend...HA HA!!!! If I only have one FRIEND when I am left, that is fine with me, at least I know I can count on that person.

My point in this post: If you are my friend then be my friend everywhere. don't pretend just to make others happy, really I don't need you in my life if you don't want to be there. :O)
